Updates to the PVB will be delayed for a short time. I know you have all come to count on your weekly spoilers and other great news. But I am going through a personal tragedy and try as I might this week to keep going, I no longer can do that. My beloved Grandmother had a major stroke last Sunday and I have been at the hospital with her daily. I updated, as you can see, a few times during the to keep my mind off of things. But now that the end is very near, it's become impossible for me to focus on the happenings in Pine Valley. If you are interested, you can keep up to date on what has happened and is happening on my message board where I or a friend will post updates about my Grandmother.
A month from yesterday, she would have been celebrating her 100th birthday in grand fashion. I sent the invitations out last Friday and she had the stroke 2 days later. This photo is of my and my Grandma, obviously my wedding day.
My heart is too broken to carry on right now, but please be assured this is not forever. I just need to be with my family right now. Live goes on, and it will. So please check back.
My prayes go out to you as you are going through
ReplyDeleteThe fact she is 99 years young she as lived well
she must have been able to tell you all sorts of stories and that is what you must remember
What help me during the sickness my mom and dad had was to keep a journal as to how I was feeling.. That was back in 1996 that is a thought it helped me
and after they passed I was able to read my thoughts and that helped
You have a lot of friends that are praying for you

You have my prayers and sympathies. I know all too well what you are going through. My wonderful grandmother passed away in Feb. from a heart attack and stroke. She was 99 and we had a big celebration planned for Sept for her 100th birthday. I miss her very much. We had a celebration of her life on the day which would have been her 100th birhday party. I hope things get better for your grandmother. You and your grandmother are in my thoughts and prayers.
