It's quite a blow to many of us fans of pint sized star Lucy Merriam (Emma) but she will not be making the move to LA with the show in December. For such a little girl, she certainly has big shoes to fill. The role will be recast.
Is it because she doesn't want to relocate or they just decided it wasn't worth the move? she has such a big part in her family it will be hard since she has grown up on the show.

I believe the parents don't want to relocate. None of the children will be making the move. From what I understand, all will be recast.
