Is HE back . . . is someone dying . . . or just get hurt when the gun goes off?
I HOPE HOPE HOPE he's back! I watched today (first time since he "died") b/c I was hoping he'd be BACK but then when they showed the preview . . . .
Finally, gave up on the show but, knew I should watch today just in case and it paid off. the look on his and everyone elses face was priceless!
Lets hope they start some better writing and uses of Vincent and David
THat was AMAZING! I'm also quite surprised they kept it under wraps! I KNEW KNEW KNEW it was him. I was jumping up and down and yelling at the TV. Amazing episode.
OMG!!! What a jaw dropper.. to see David at the end of the show today. I so can't wait to see the next episode!! This is awesome.
I am seriously impressed that they kept this out of the press for so long. I'm so happy David's back, and if he gets some revenge, that'll be even better.
Add me to the list of those who were, well, shocked. I always thought David would come back *someday* but I had no idea that day would be today! I hope he's back for a while and this isn't a short visit.
I knew when he "left" that he'd faked his death in order to frame Ryan, but I couldn't see him just offing himself. I was still shocked to see him today!!! Maybe he won't be so dastardly this time around. Nah! He's going to be even worse. Jessie's double take was priceless!

Um...Didn't they do an autopsy on him?
I am glad Dr. Dave is back. With Adam and Zach gone Dave is necessary.
He's such a pointless character, but I'm glad for his fans. There isn't much rootability or human aspects left to David so IDK how long he lasts on AMC w/ it's remaining life span. Losing Adam is still felt on this show, but JR is starting to rise realistically, they just have to end the Rylee hour and come up w/ more SLs like JR and Annie and Colby/Asher/Damon. Also there needs to be a common enemy, David is not it. Whoever killed Zach could be that.
@earthxdog... Greenlee was autopsied too. Doesn't mean a thing. David paid the medical examiner then, and he probably paid the medical examiner now!
I was hope Adam would show up as the killer :-/
Yeah, I think a lot of us who have been around the block a few times didn't think the writers were going to be so stupid as to "really" kill David..
However, today's preview showed someone getting shot (killed)? Or, at least it looked like it.. Ryan? If it's David, this whole thing would be one waste!
How ironic that David would "undie" the same day Kendall found out about Zach.
Too bad that they lost the episode a couple of weeks ago cause this would've been an amazing Friday cliffhanger. I figured it was coming soon since they took the "RIP" off his photos at ABC.com a week or so ago.
So who helped him? Madison? Liza? Just Gayle? I'm hoping that Madison agreed to work with David, thinking they were setting up Greenlee but David was aiming for Ryan the entire time.

I was hoping it was Madison and she was trying to kill both of them (David and Greenlee) to have Ryan all to herself. She would have stolen the digitalis from Frankie's bag. If she had pulled it off, it would have looked like a double suicide.
I guess I have been watching this soap opera so many years I figured out that David faked his death. But the look on the people of Pine Valley when he appeared alive was priceless.
