How Cool Is That?

AMC is using real, top of the line technology to help Ryan as he recovers from a brain aneurysm.  Hummingbird Synergy is the signature device by InnerSpace Medical.  Hummingbird Synergy is the only device to integrate the functions of intracranial pressure, ventricular drainage with access for a diagnostic probe through a single burr hole. What this means is that before this device, several holes were made in the skull to access all these different areas, but with this one device, only one hole is needed.  Kudos to AMC for educating viewers on a new, top of the line device!
