LA Mayor and City Council President to Appear on AMC!

LA is rolling out the red carpet for AMC and welcoming the show with open arms. On February 16, City Council President Eric Garcetti will appear on AMC as himself in scenes with David Canary's Adam Chandler. The two will be meeting to discuss steps they are taking to make Chandler Enterprises more environmentally friendly. And then on February 17, Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigos will appear as himself in scenes with Susan Lucci's Erica Kane at ConFusion bar in Pine Valley. The two know each other from charity events both had attended.

REMINDER: The View's Tribute to AMC Airs on Soapnet!

As previously reported, The View's tribute show to AMC that aired on Decmeber 11 will be rebroadcast on Soapnet on Saturday, January 9 at 6:00 pm EST or on Sunday, January 10 at 11:00 pm EST.

Rachael Ray's AMC Garage Sale!!!!

Tune into The Rachael Ray Show on Thursday, December 24 to see, as the PVB previously reported, twice, to see the AMC Garage Sale!!! AMC sold off props and memorabilia that the show wouldn't be taking with them when they move to LA with all proceeds to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Check local listings for time and channel!

CASTING NEWS - Jill Larson Back on Contract!

Just as she celebrates her 20th year on AMC, Jill Larson (Opal) hopefully will be celebrating many many more. She's been placed back on contract status and will be making the move to LA with the show! What's your favorite Opal moment? Off hand I have to say I loved when she and young Petey (then played by Mitchel Federan) came to the Venetian Ball dressed as aliens because she thought it was a Venusian Ball!
