REMINDER: AMC Guys on The Talk

This week some AMC hotties will appear on The Talk for a series they are calling All My Meals.  During the segment, one of our AMC men will cook up their favorite dish and then have a sit down with the women on the show to talk about the end of AMC.  Look for Jacob Young (JR) on the September 26 show.  Michael E. Knight (Tad) will appear on September 28.  And Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) will be featured on the September 29 show.  The Talk is on at 2:00 pm EST weekdays on CBS.

AMC Men Hit The Talk!!

Reflections on the Final Day of Taping

A few articles have come out over the past few days of AMC stars reflecting on the last day of taping for ABC.  Up first, Susan Lucci (Erica) spoke with TVGuide.com and tells them how she had to keep her emotions in check while they worked.  She echoed what a lot of us have been saying since the news of the cancellation... "It just didn't seem real."  And while it's still unclear as to whether or not she'll be making the move when AMC goes online, she is thrilled how Agnes Nixon and Lorraine Broderick have ended the show with several cliffhangers.

Also sharing some insights, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) spoke with The New York Post about that final day.  He too echoed what many of us have said,  "You never really think it's going to go away."  Isn't that the truth!   He too is unclear and unsure what the future holds for AMC online but he is excited about a new online series he is starring in for Disney called CeReality, a spoof on soaps which premieres this month.

In Case You Missed It... Part 2

Yesterday Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) and fiance Gretta Monahan introduced their new son on The Rachael Ray Show!  And here's all the deets... Kai Rei was born at 12:25 a.m. via C-section on October 21.  He weighed in at  9 lbs., 11 oz.!  Ricky explains that their son's name means "breeze off the ocean.

Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) and fiance Gretta Monahan have welcomed their son!  Born last week in Los Angeles, the boy weighed in at 10 lbs!!  I'll have more details as they become available.

Double the Ricky Paul News!!

Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) will be a guest on The Rachael Ray Show on Thursday, September 23 with his lady love Gretta Monahan.   As previously reported, the couple are expecting their first child and will be talking about their journey to parenthood on the show.  This will be the first time the couple has talked openly about this subject!    The Rachael Ray Show is syndicated, please check local listings for time and channel.

In other Ricky news, he will be appearing at the 2010 Portland Women Show on Sunday, October 10 at the Oregon Convention Center.  Tickets are $9.   For for more information please check the Portland Women Show website.

Ricky Paull Goldin To Be a Daddy??

If you follow the PVB message boards, you've no doubt read this already.  But if you don't, it seems as though Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) is going to be a daddy!   Ricky's long time girlfriend and current fiance is expecting!   There's been no official word from Ricky on the matter, but a picture is worth a thousand words wouldn't you say?  Here is Ricky's fiance, Gretta Monahan, arriving at the Daytime Emmys on June 27. 

And Now the Guys!

Finding full length pictures of the men is definitely not as easy as finding them for the women! Maybe the photographers think we don't want to see what the guys are wearing, but hello... we do! The men of AMC are already so handsome, but add a tux, or a beautifully tailored suit and they are downright drool worthy!









As you can see, Walt's tux arrived unscathed! Walt Willey (Jack) is downright dashing!

Our loan male nominee of the night, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) looked very Bond, James Bond in his white dinner jacket with black pants.











JR Martinez (Brot) was featured during the "Daytime Gives Back" segment. He looks amazing and I always love his smile!














Jacob Young (JR) certainly knows how to look great! Love the shiny tie.













What can you say about Vincent Irizarry (David)! The grey, the purple, the handsome? OK, a tie would have been nice (Cameron too for that matter!), but Vincent looks positively yummy IMO!

This Year's Daytime Emmy Reels!

The Daytime Emmy's are NEXT WEEK and AMC has three nominations in the main categories (10 nominations total). Here is what was submitted for Emmy voting.


For the Outstanding Drama Series nomination, AMC submitted the show where everyone and their brother came to Chandler Mansion gunning for Adam.

Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) nominated for Best Lead Actress submitted the show where Krystal admits to Tad that Marissa is Babe's twin sister and that she sold her after she was born.


Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) nominated for Best Supporting Actor submitted the show where Jake learns that Amanda slept with David.

Ricky Paull Goldin's New Show to Air May 2!!!

As previously reported, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) has been working on a new series for TLC, entitled Seeing vs. Believing. The show is set to premiere on the cable network on May 2 at 8:00 pm EST. In the show, Ricky, the believer and his friend Jeff Gurtman, the skeptic, travel across the country to see if they can find out the truth behind legendary unexplained phenomenon. Aiden Makes it Past the Next Round on DWTS!!!

And so it goes, Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan) has once again made it through to the next week on Dancing with the Stars! His Quick Step wasn't the best of the night, only giving him and partner Edyta a score of 20 points, but it was enough (with call in votes) to bring him back for Week 4!


Alas poor Buzz Aldrin got the boot this week. The 80 year old legend is probably quite a hoofer on a dance floor. But competition wise, he didn't make the grade.

Ricky Paull Goldin Injured on the Set of New Show!

As previously reported, Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) is working on a new paranormal series for TLC. We now know the title is Seeing vs. Believing, with the premiere date being announced Friday! In the meantime, Ricky recently tweeted that during production he got 21 stitches! He posted pictures of the injury via his Twitter page. Here and here. Ouch!

Ricky Paull Goldin Moonlighting with New Series!!!

Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) has been tweeting his excitement about a new series he's been working for TLC, a paranormal project. Details are sketchy but he's wrapped production and his enthusiasm is certainly contagious! Can't wait to see it. His father was world famous hypnotist, Dr. Paul Goldin. He passed way in Feb. 2008.
