Their parting was muddled at best and their reasons for continuing to be apart seem weak and unclear. Four years ago, May 24, 2005, Jack and Erica finally walked down the aisle and seemingly to their happily ever after. But the marriage was short lived. Now Jack is rarely seen which is a darn shame because I think he would like the new more mature Erica that she has become.

Tony Award winning actor Kiernan Campion is playing the role of DA Henry North. He first aired this week and will be gaining more airtime as the murder investigation and subsequent trial hits the airwaves. As previously reported, Stephanie Gatschet was cast in the role of Henry North's wife, Madison.

It was one year ago today that Angie and Jesse, after 25 years apart, married again. The ceremony was beautiful. The bride and groom, stunning. Friends and family were present and Ne-Yo sang. The day was magical. That is until Rob Gardner kidnapped the bride, shot Tad, stole the diamond that sent Jesse on the run in the first place and catapulted Jesse into astounding feats of bravery to save the woman he loves. Daytime Emmy Nominations Announced 5/14!!!

The 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations will be announced on Thursday, May 14. The main acting categories will be announced on the Today Show on NBC, as well as the announcement of who is hosting this years festivities. Later in the evening, the rest of the awards will be announced in a ceremony in NYC.

Earlier in the year, ABC, CBS and Soapnet all turned down the broadcast, leaving the show in limbo. But The CW stepped up to the plate and picked up the broadcast. The show will air on The CW network on live on Sunday, August 30 from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

This years Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to Sesame Street!

As previously reported, Eden Riegel (Bianca) was nominated for a Webby Award for Best Individual Performance for her work as Eden in the online series, Imaginary Bitches. The winners were announced yesterday and Eden won in the People's Voice catagory!!!!! Congratulations!!!

CASTING NEWS - Amanda Baker Returns!!!

Yes, you read it right. Amanda Baker is returning to the role of Babe Carey Chandler in June for a couple of shows. But no, Babe is not among the living. Babe will appear to a very troubled JR as a ghost. Look for her appearances near the beginning and at the end of June.

FLASHBACK - May, 1980

As the years in their marriage went by, the very distinguished gentlemen, Dr. Charles Tyler, was growing increasingly more annoyed with his wife, socialite Phoebe Tyler's meddling in other people's lives. At times it was so troubling for Charles that he would seek refuge in his office at the hospital where he served as Chief of Staff. He seeked out the calming and soothing affects that his secretary of many years, Mona Kane, provided him.



Charles had secretly fallen in love with Mona but because of his loyalty to Phoebe, he remained quiet about it. What he didn't know was that Mona had secretly fallen in love with him as well. Eventually when Phoebe's ways were too much for Charles, he told Mona how he felt about her and was thrilled to find the feeling mutual. Charles and Phoebe divorced, paving the way for Charles and Mona to walk down the aisle on May 1, 1980.

Happy Birthday Kate Collins!!!!

Maybe I'm alone in this but I would love to see Amanda go visit her mother, Janet from Another Planet, while she's in a family way, carrying none other than Dr. Evil's child! Janet would stop at nothing to get out of wherever she is (where is she anyway? Annie didn't run into her at Oak Haven, so maybe she's in that prison for the criminally insane where Daddy Cambias is?) and teach David that you don't mess with her Amanda! Oh yes. Where is that storyline? Ahh well, instead we'll just have to wish Kate Collins a very happy 51st birthday.

Susan Lucci Honored!!!

On Friday, May 8, Susan Lucci (Erica) along with Rose Rock (Chris Rock's mother) and former Super Bowl great, Derreck Mayes will be honored as people who make a difference in the lives of others, presented by The Pajama Program. The not for profit organization was founded in 2001 and now, with 73 chapters nationwide, have provided more than 400,000 pajamas and books to children in need throughout the United States.

The event will take place at the Pierre Hotel in NYC at 11:30 am. Sherri Shepherd will be on hand to present Susan with the "Woman of the Year" award. For more information and tickets to attend this event, visit the Pajama Program website.
