Happy Birthday wishes to Alexa Havins!! AMC's Babe (former, and I guess we can call her the current Babe after her finale return) celebrates her 31st birthday today. Did you catch Alexa on the Starz original series Torchwood: Miracle Day? She rocked (as did the series!)
This is turning into a real party! Justin Bruening (Jamie) and Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) will be returning to AMC in September for a few shows before the show signs off on ABC. Jamie's return is easy enough, he's been in Africa working with Doctors Without Borders. Babe, that's a little trickier. Babe died several years ago when a tornado hit Pine Valley (then played by Amanda Baker). Another ghost? Another "victim" of the Orpheus Project? Just how many people has Dr. David Haywardstein risen from the dead?? Alexa currently stars in the Starz incarnation of Torchwood and Justin stars in the Wonder Woman pilot that is looking for a home. The couple has been married since 2005 and have one child, a daughter Lexington.
As previously reported, Alexa Havins (Babe) has landed a role in the Starz series Torchwood - Miracle Day. The show is set to air July 8 at 10:00 pm EST. Sure wish I had Starz!! I watched Torchwood - Children of Earth on BBC America and LOVED it! I heart Jack Harkness!
TVLine.com has revealed that Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) has landed a lead role in the BBC hit drama Torchwood (seen stateside on Starz). Alexa is playing the role of Esther Katusi, a CIA Watch Analyst who is also an eternal optimist and has the hots for colleague Rex Matheson(played byMekhi Phifer). Rex and Esther team up with Torchwood vetsCaptain Jack Harkness (played by John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (played by Eve Myles). The series returns in the summer.
As previously reported, Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) will be a guest star on Grey's Anatomy. She will first air on February 10. Here's a first look at Alexa as Danielle, Thatcher Grey's much younger girlfriend! Grey's Anatomy airs Thursday nights at 9:00 pm EST on ABC.
Well we didn't get her back in the recasted role of Marissa, but Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) has landed a choice role on the ABC hit drama, Grey's Anatomy! Beginning in February, she will be taking on the role of Thatcher Grey's (played by Jeff Perry) new girlfriend! Thatcher is the father of Meredith and Lexie. Is it safe to say they won't be too thrilled their father is dating someone so young?

The fab Daytime Confidential is reporting that Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) is currently filming an episode of CSI: NY. No details are available on who she'll be playing, but she will be appearing in the 13th episode, tentatively scheduled to air December 16. We'll post more info as it becomes available!
And dammit, it's not Alexa Havins! Sarah Glendening (ex-Lucy, ATWT) has been cast as NuMarissa. She begins airing in the contract role on December 20. Brittany Allen's last day as Marissa will be December 17.
In an interesting turn of events, AMC has asked Brittany Allen (Marissa) to stay on for a little longer because they are having a hard time finding her replacement. So as of right now, there is no definitive final airdate for Brittany as Marissa. Finding a new Scott seemed easy, they just went to their arsenal of previous Scott's. So why not use that same tactic with Marissa? Yes, Brittany is the first Marissa, but she has a twin sister, a twin named Babe. How about tapping new momAlexa Havins to come back to the show, this time as Marissa? I can see it! Can you?
Congratualations to Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) and Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie)!!! The couple had their first child on Tuesday, August 10 at 1:43 pm, a daughter. Lexington Grace weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz and is 20 inches long. The family is doing great!
