Updates to the PVB will be delayed for a short time. I know you have all come to count on your weekly spoilers and other great news. But I am going through a personal tragedy and try as I might this week to keep going, I no longer can do that. My beloved Grandmother had a major stroke last Sunday and I have been at the hospital with her daily. I updated, as you can see, a few times during the to keep my mind off of things. But now that the end is very near, it's become impossible for me to focus on the happenings in Pine Valley. If you are interested, you can keep up to date on what has happened and is happening on my message board where I or a friend will post updates about my Grandmother.
A month from yesterday, she would have been celebrating her 100th birthday in grand fashion. I sent the invitations out last Friday and she had the stroke 2 days later. This photo is of my and my Grandma, obviously my wedding day.
My heart is too broken to carry on right now, but please be assured this is not forever. I just need to be with my family right now. Live goes on, and it will. So please check back.
It was a little scary there for awhile, especially with the first elimination looming and Susan and Tony still on the chopping block. She seemed nervous and stiff on that first dance, the Cha Cha Cha. They only scored a 15. I have to say, I was really put off by Carrie Ann's comment to Susan that first night that she looks frail and should gain a few pounds. Susan is who she is. She is a tiny woman. This isn't new. I thought that comment was truly uncalled for. In the end, comedian Jeffrey Ross was voted off. Unfortunately, that means that Edyta Sliwinska was also out. She was Cameron Mathison's (Ryan) partner when he competed on Dancing with the Stars last fall. But then Susan shined on her Quick Step! What a difference a day makes. She was terrific! And her scores reflected that. This time the score for Susan and Tony was 22!! The second elimination this week was Ted McGinley and newcomer to DWTS, Inna Brayer. Every week the competition will get tougher so don't forget to call in and vote! The number to vote for Susan and Tony is (800) VOTE-4-11
AMC's loss is certainly Guiding Light's gain!! Jeff Branson (ex-Jonathan) has been cast as the 7th portrayer in the role of Shayne Lewis, Reva and Josh's son. The character returns to Springfield on December 1 after going missing in Afghanistan. I wonder what he'll think of his 50-something mother being pregnant!
Too bad that Jonathan was sent up to the European annex of the Martin attic. His brother Ryan sure needs his brother now more than ever! But good for Jeff landing such a plum role!!
Tune into The Rachael Ray Show tomorrow, September 25 to see Chrishell Stause (Amanda) compete with Brandon Buddy (Cole, OLTL) and Kane Manera (Grady, GL) in a game called Soap-ivor. Fresh off his Emmy win for Best Reality Competition Host, Jeff Probst will be on hand to run them through a set of challenges. The show is syndicated, check local listings for time and channel.
Tune into NBC tonight at 8:00 pm EST for the season premiere of Knight Rider!! The series stars former AMC hottie, Justin Bruening in the lead role of Mike Tracer, the long lost son of Michael Knight formerly the lead character in the original Knight Rider. And just so we don't confuse the anything, because with these names, it's very easy to do... Michael Knight was played by David Hasselhoff. On AMC, Justin played Jamie Martin, Tad's son, who is portrayed by Michael E. Knight. Did I clear that up or confuse you more!?
Also today, Justin Bruening celebrates his 29th birthday!
This weeks spoilers are now up after a brief delay! And what an action packed week it is! Hit the comment link and tell us what you think about the previews, or what you think may happen next!
On Friday's show, Pete Cortlandt was struck by lightning after he tainted the new shipment of Bella with the concoction he calls Blast. But what will happen to young Pete now? What affects will being struck by lightning have on him?
Pine Valley's resident science geek reminds me of another mad scientist from years ago. He even looks like him! Is Pete going to turn into the next Buddy Love... the martini swilling, lounge singing, playboy alter ego of Julius Kelp in the classic movie, The Nutty Professor? If he does, I hope someone warns Colby!!!
Eden Riegel will be reprising her role on AMC as the very popular and much loved Bianca Montgomery!!! She arrives back in Pine Valley on October 17 in the aftermath of a big event that happens in Pine Valley around that time, to help her family heal. And the best news of all, this not going to be a few episode visit. This is going to be a contract visit!
Arriving with Bianca is of course, her daughter Miranda. And soon after, on October 30, we will meet Bianca's girlfriend, Reese Williams who will join her lady love in Pine Valley. AMC welcomes Tamara Braun (best known as Carly on GH, and most recently Ava on Days) to the cast as Reese!
Wow, first David and now Bianca and company. What can we expect next? Who do you think will be the next big return. New writer Charles Pratt, Jr. promises even more surprises to come. I'm putting my vote in right now for Brooke!!
Super Soap Weekend will be held at Walt Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando, FL on Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16. This year's AMC stars confirmed to be attending so far are Susan Lucci (Erica), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Alicia Minshew (Kendall), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and Aiden Turner (Aidan). This is just the beginning! Stay tuned as more and more stars are confirmed!
Last night marked the debut of Leven Rambin (ex-Lily/Ava) in her new role as Riley on the Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The show airs on Monday nights at 8:00 pm EST. Or catch full episodes online at Fox.com! Personally I'm totally jealous that she gets to work with Shirley Manson!!!
If you're still suffering from Imaginary Bitches withdrawl while the show is on hiatus, you can get your Eden Riegel (Bianca) fix another way! Eden has teamed up with Bob Guiney (aka Mr. Rebecca Budig) to teach you how to charm your dates pants off with food! Check out the first episode of their new online show, Cooking to Get Lucky! Viewers can submit their own questions for a chance to be featured on the show!

As previously reported, Vincent Irizarry is returning to AMC in the role of the deliciously devious Dr. David Hayward. He will be making his Pine Valley return on October 23.
A week before, on October 16, a huge disaster will hit Pine Valley! Hmm, maybe David is returning to save more lives dammit!
It's been a long time, but today is the day for a brand new Editorial! With so much to talk about I just had to buckle down and write one. This week we will take a look at the unhinging of Annie, the Bella party, the end of MyJoshy, a new poll, and much more!

Ahh Erica, she hasn't changed much in all these years. Back in 1978, after a bad break up with Nick Davis, Erica took up with former pro football player, Tom Cudahy, with the hope of making Nick jealous. When Erica decided to marry Tom soon after they started seeing each other, she secretly hoped the idea of her marrying another would bring Nick to his sense. Erica was overjoyed when Nick phoned her the day of the wedding, thinking he would propose to her. But he didn't, he was merely calling to tell her that he was sorry he couldn't attend her wedding.
Erica's mother Mona tried to talk her headstrong daughter out of marrying someone she doesn't love, and vowed to stop the wedding herself if she had to. But in the end, she kept quiet and Erica and Tom wed in a beautiful traditional ceremony.
After they wed, the couple went on a romantic honeymoon to St. Croix. It was one of daytime's first ever location shoots outside of the US.
AMC's former Anita Santos, Natalia Cigliuti celebrates her 30th birthday today! As previously reported, Natalia now stars in the new Stephen Bochco drama, Raising the Bar. The show airs on Monday nights at 10:00 pm on TNT.
The shows debut on September 1 was the highest rated series premiere ever on ad-supported cable (including the Disney channel!!).
The Hot Guys of ABC 2009 calendar is now out!! AMChotties featured in this years calendar are Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Thorsten Kaye (Zach) and Aiden Turner (Aidan). Personally, I could fill up all twelve months with just our AMC guys, but this is nice for people who watch more than just AMC.
Stardish Radio will be conducting a rare interview with Michael E. Knight (Tad) on September 3. Just log into the website and listen live. You can even call in and talk to Michael or ask him a question. The interview will start at 10:00 pm EST.
But don't worry, if you miss it you can download the interview and listen to it anytime you want!
