As previously reported, Thorsten Kaye (Zach) expressed interest in returning before AMC ends in September.... September 23 being the final airdate, and it's going to happen! No details or a first airdate have been released but the official word is that Zach will be returning this summer. Cady McClain's (Dixie) return will be a bit sooner, with her first airdate being next week, May 17.
It looks like they are! With Cady McClain's (Dixie) return already confirmed, fans are wondering who else AMC plans to bring back before their swan song in September. Although there is no official word yet, Thorsten Kaye (Zach) revealed on his official website yesterday that he is bringing Zach back to Pine Valley, alive and in the flesh this summer.
And what about David Canary (Adam) and Julia Barr (Brooke)? With Agnes Nixon and Lorraine Broderick back in the drivers seat at AMC, it seems there is a good chance we will see these two AMC icons before the end. Storyline penned by Broderick and overseen by Nixon begins airing on May 27.

Well it's the news many AMC fans have been dreading. SOD is reporting Thorsten Kaye (Zach) is leaving AMC again, with no plans for a return. While on a trip to help Ryan and Greenlee prove their innocence, Zach's plane crashes and Zach is presumed dead. You know how these things go in soaps, there is no body found, which leaves the door open for Thorsten to return some day if circumstances change. But he has made it clear from the very beginning when AMC relocated to LA that he would not be moving there because his family is in NYC. The eventual plan, after an intense period of mourning, is to move Kendall on with new character, Griffin Castillo, played by Jordi Vilasuso, who joins AMC on November 15. So... no Adam, no David, no Zach. Kinda sucks doesn't it?
As previously reported, Thorsten Kaye will be returning in October... October 22, to be exact (well as exact as it can be without unforeseen pre-emptions and the like) for a limited run. What exactly does this mean? How long is he sticking around? The answers to these questions and many others are yet to come!
Thorsten Kaye (Zach) will be guest host of the Hilberry Theatre Company's 48th season preview on Saturday, September 25. As a 1994 graduate of Wayne State University, Thorsten makes his return to the Hilberry Theatre to host as the company presents scenes from five upcoming shows on the 2010/2011 schedule. Today's the day!! Thorsten Kaye (Zach) returns to Pine Valley to see what Kendall is up to. I have a feeling he won't be too pleased. Thorsten is only on for a handful of shows this time around but fear not Zach lovers, he will be back again for a longer run in October and November!
As previously reported, Alica Minshew (Kendall) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach) will be returning!!! Alicia will be making her permanent return on August 9. Thorsten will be back on August 16 for a short term stay. What do you think their storyline will be?

A few AMC stars asked me how Thorsten Kaye is doing (great!) and are pleased he is coming back to film Kendall's return in July. Can't AMC write a juicy story worthy of his talents and work out a deal where Thorsten flies back and forth to LA? "We're working on it," whispered an exec.

Thorsten Kaye (Zach) and Alicia Minshew (Kendall) will be returning to Pine Valley for a short time in April!!! For Thorsten it's a short term return beginning April 13. For Alicia, she begins on April 9 and it looks like it will be the beginning of her return from maternity leave. Does this mean she's staying on? Staying on without Zach? Time will tell!
December 29 marks Thorsten Kaye's (Zach) final air date on AMC. As previously reported, he opted not to make the move to LA when the show relocated this month. This week, Zach and Kendall decide to leave Pine Valley. But it's not the last we'll see if Kendall. Alicia Minshew (Kendall) will be back after her maternity leave. For how long has yet to be announced.
This Friday, November 13, to celebrate Whoopi Goldberg's birthday, AMC's Thorsten Kaye (Zach) will co-host The View! Also appearing on the show will be Stephen King and Kool and the Gang.
Things were getting hairy, and scary for Zach fans. Word came down that contract negotiations between him and AMC had stalled. But I am pleased to announce (via information on his official website) that Thorsten Kaye has decided to stick with AMC! The length of time has not yet been released.
