Happy Birthday Adam Mayfield!!

Happy Birthday wishes to Adam Mayfield!!  Formerly Scott Chandler, Adam can soon be seen in the independent movie, The Preacher's Daughter.  He celebrates his 35th birthday today.

Final Airdate for Mayfield

With the role of Scott Chandler being taken over by Daniel Cosgrove in December, Adam Mayfield will make his final appearance as Scott next week.  The aftermath of catching Annie in bed with JR proves to be too much for Scott and he goes to Caleb with a confession.  A confession that lands him right in jail!   Adam's last airdate is October 15.

New Role for Exiting Mayfield!!

Exiting AMC star, Adam Mayfield (Scott) has already landed his next gig!  Adam will be starring in the independent movie, The Preacher's Daughter, as the love interest of Andrea Bowen's (Desperate Housewives) character, Hannah.  In the film, after 4 years away, Hannah must return to her home to face her troubled past as the daughter of a very strict religious minister.  It's currently being filmed in Texas and will be released in 2011.

CASTING NEWS: Cosgrove in!

Hot off his stint at ATWT, Daniel Cosgrove returns to AMC as Scott, replacing the departing Adam Mayfield.  No specific airdate is yet available, but he is set to begin airing in December.  Daniel previously played Scott from 1996 - 1998. 

CASTING NEWS: Allen and Mayfield are out!

Just released today, Brittany Allen (Marissa) and Adam Mayfield (Scott) have been let go from AMC.  Official word is that the show wants to take the characters in a new direction.  Does that mean recast?  Who knows!  Both Allen and Mayfield joined AMC in April of '09 and both will continue to air into October.  Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

AMC Stars Perform Agatha Christie!!!

On Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21, LA fans will get a real treat at the Soap Fan Mystery Theatre kicks off with a new series of readings. For three performances only, you can see Hollywood legend Stephanie Powers along with Vincent Irizarry (David), Jacob Young (JR) and Adam Mayfield (Scott) as well as GL's Robert Newman perform Agatha Christie's The Unexpected Guest. The performance will take place at The Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills and will be held at 8:00 pm on the 20th and 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the 21st.

On Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14, the second reading will be Agatha Christie's Spider's Web. This time AMC stars Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake), Jacob Young (JR) and Adam Mayfield (Scott) will be performing with a guest to be announced. The performance will take place at The Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills and will be held at 8:00 pm on the 13th and 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the 14th.

CASTING NEWS - Scott Chandler Returns to Pine Valley!

Scott Chandler is returning to Pine Valley on April 9, this time played by actor Adam Mayfield. Last played by Forbes March (who went on to play Nash on OLTL), the character left back in 2000 to finish his studies at NYU. Stuart's adopted son is sure to spell more airtime for Stuart and hopefully Marian. Mayfield has previously been seen on the shows Boston Public and The Hughleys. Who do you suppose Scott's Pine Valley love interest will be.... Amanda? Randi? hmmm
