It's about something happened. I haven't been this frustrated and bored with AMC in years. Ryan and Greenlee - you can't go back - been there, done that. Ryan seems to have amnesia for all Greenlee did in the past. Did we forget she stalked him under the guise of "Cynthia"?
Taylor - boooring. She gets so much airtime for someone we haven't learned to embrace yet. However, the actor playing Brot is just amazing. For a rookie he doing an incredible job.
Amanda - was at her best playing off Jake. What she is doing to JR, even though she doesn't want to, doesn't endear us to her in this story.
David - David in the past had a complex character, good/bad, caring/evil. He's always been self-serving, but they have given him only one personality and it's not fun to watch.
Crystal - the character barely belongs on the show without Babe. I can't believe she is doing this to Tad.
I could go on. I had so much hope for the new head writer, and we were told the stories were going to go back to being more traditional relationship-driven shows. There are relationships, but they are week and poorly supported. The only relationships of any true interest are Jesse/Angie/Rebecca and Kendall/Zack/Reese/Bianca (although I really hate that they have Zach as the bioliogical father of Gabrielle. That's a blunder as big as reversing Erica's abortion).
So that's my rant. I hang in there, year after year, through the good and the bad. And this is about as bad as it's been, in my opinion, in a very, very long time.
