In addition to three NY/NJ events for A Tribute to Pine Valley in October, there will also be a Pine Valley tribute event, A Celebration of the Final Network Broadcast, held at Sidetrack in Chicago, IL. In attendance will be Chrishell Stause (Amanda), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal), Terri Ivens (ex-Simone), Jeffrey Carlson (ex-Zarf/Zoe), Brian Gaskill (ex-Bobby) and Matt Borlenghi (ex-Brian). The event begins at 11:00 am and will include a meet and greet and a viewing of the final episode on ABC. Tickets will be on sale soon for this event that benefits Season of Concern. Unfortunately you are out of luck if you didn't get tickets to Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) and Alicia Minshew's (Kendall) event, Good Night Pine Valley on Saturday, September 17 at Prohibition Restaurant on Columbus Ave. in NYC. This event is sold out.
In conjunction with AMC Fan Club Weekend, Bobbie Eakes will be hosting her own event, Krystal's Country BBQ!!!The event will include a BBQ buffet, country music DJ and line dance instruction! The Daytime Emmy's are NEXT WEEK and AMC has three nominations in the main categories (10 nominations total). Here is what was submitted for Emmy voting.
For the Outstanding Drama Series nomination, AMC submitted the show where everyone and their brother came to Chandler Mansion gunning for Adam.
Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) nominated for Best Lead Actress submitted the show where Krystal admits to Tad that Marissa is Babe's twin sister and that she sold her after she was born.
Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) nominated for Best Supporting Actor submitted the show where Jake learns that Amanda slept with David.
Long before she was serenading her patrons at The Comeback or belting it out with the Divas of Daytime, Bobbie Eakes (Krystal Carey) sang an awesome duet with Collin Raye called Loving this Way.
I think that Eakes looks amazing in the music video. Her hair may be big and very "country," but she sure carries the look well.
