March 5 is big on AMC birthdays! Celebrating his 83rd birthday today, is Ray MacDonnell. AMC's Joe Martin will be back in Pine Valley this coming week!.
Also today, newlywed TC Warner celebrates her 34th birthday!!
And last but by no means least, Bill Timoney celebrates his 53rd birthday today!
Bill Timoney (ex-Alfred Vanderpool) can be seen this holiday season at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, performing in the stage version of one of my all time faves, the classic movie A CHRISTMAS STORY. Bill and his wife, actress Georgette Reilly Timoney, are portraying the parents of young Ralphie, Mrs. Parker and the Old Man, the boy whose only request for Santa is to receive a Red Ryder BB gun rifle ("you'll shoot your eye out, kid!"). A CHRISTMAS STORY plays at Arkansas Rep in Little Rock from December 3rd thru December 26th. Ticket information and directions can be accessed at www.therep.org.
You know him and love him as Alfred Vanderpool, but starting on August 13, Bill Timoney will be starring in the play, Picking Palin. The story explores how a little-known governor from Alaska become the 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate. The play, part of the NYC Fringe Festival at the Connelly Theater, will be performed August 13, 18, 21, 25 and 28. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the NYC Fringe Festival website.
A cast member seen here in the 1982 cast photo sat down with the Pine Valley Bulletin for an in depth interview about life in the Valley. To see who's talking, check out the interview HERE.
Bill Timoney (Alfred Vanderpool) recently wrote in to the PVB to let fans know that
he will be appearing in the three character play, Driving Miss Daisy, at the Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke, VA. The play runs from January 22 thru February 8 and you can get tickets and more information by visiting the Mill Mountain website. Bill plays the role of Miss Daisy's son, Boolie, and encourages any AMC fans who go see the play to come by the stage door after the production to say hello!
