I would LOVE to have Maria back on AMC, but all of her connections to the show have been last. So sad how AMC last all its *big* stars over the last few years. Maria, Edmund, Dimitri, Anna, realLiza, Adam/Stuart, Palmer, Myrtle, Phoebe, Dixie...and the list goes on.
I've read interviews where Hillary, Nina, Anna, and even Leo have said they would come back...why isnt ABC bringing faves back to AMC instead of shoving Brenda's GH return down our throats?
TV Guide just had an article that reminds the viewers that we have been spoiled by having 52 weeks of new episodes of our soap every year - unlike nighttime tv where you get 13-16 new episodes. The article also said that we can expect more things like the "Brenda GH" return so they can reduce the writers salaries by having them write fewer scripts.
Do we have new writers on AMC? I haven't seen any improvement in the storylines, so, new writers/old writers, it all seems the same a train wreck of a show.
LL.. yeah, that stories been going around for a few weeks now, about how staff writers would be affected by the change. I haven't posted it because quite frankly, I don't even know what to say about these kinds of things anymore
