AMC Men Hit The Talk!!

In a pretty direct and blatant jab at ABC for replacing AMC with a cooking show, CBS's The Talk will feature some AMC hotties during the week of September 26 for a series they are calling All My Meals.  During the segment, one of our AMC men will cook up their favorite dish and then have a sit down with the women on the show to talk about the end of AMC.  Look for Jacob Young (JR) on the September 26 show.  Michael E. Knight (Tad) will appear on September 28.  And Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) will be featured on the September 29 show.  The Talk is on at 2:00 pm EST weekdays on CBS.

Looks as if the "View" is really eating up the new show that is supposed to replace our beloved soap, at least by the preview advertisements.......I guess the "View" will no longer be on my "View" list.....

Actually, ABC won't be on my view list after 9/23.

Oh, I think that's funny for CBS to do that, but, I really don't like "The Talk." Actually, for me, it's impossible to watch.

The ladies of The View are simply doing what the network has asked them to do, which is promote the new show that the network is trying to build. To me, it's no different than promoting DWTS or Desperate Housewives, which are other ABC properties.

What's interesting to me is that ABC is promoting The Chew just about everywhere lately. Clearly, they are aiming at a broader demographic than just daytime soap viewers - they are also trying to capitalize on the hosts' fan bases on the Food Network and TLC. We'll see if it works.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER watch anything in the old AMC time slot if you are a true fan...and I mean NEVER.
