14. The main acting categories will be announced on the Today Show on NBC, as well as the announcement of who is hosting this years festivities. Later in the evening, the rest of the awards will be announced in a ceremony in NYC.Earlier in the year, ABC, CBS and Soapnet all turned down the broadcast, leaving the show in limbo. But The CW stepped up to the plate and picked up the broadcast. The show will air on The CW network on live on Sunday, August 30 from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
This years Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to Sesame Street!
