Palmer Cortlandt (the late James Mitchell) was not the most honorable man in the planet. The best example of his skewed sense of morals was his twisted marriage to Donna Beck (Candice Early). The whole time Palmer was married to Donna, he was seeing Daisy on the side. Then, he had the audacity to try and kill Donna for sleeping with Chuck Tyler (then- Richard Van Vleet). I guess he was upset that their son, Palmer John, was actually Chuck's. Yesterday, I listed a few of Palmer's loved ones who I think should come to pay last respects to their patriarch. But really, how fun would it be to see Donna sing at the funeral in memory of her ex-husband, and then spit on his grave.
After all, this is Pine Valley.

Candice Early lives in Arkansas and is married to Robert Nolan. Robert Nolan is my daddy's boss! I've never met her, but she and Mr. Bob sent me a very lovely dish from Tiffany's for a wedding gift. She also sent my son a set of Dinosaur Dishes from Tiffany's when he was born. I would love to see her back on AMC, even if it was temporary.
I started watching AMC with the Cliff/Nina story. It seems like thjey thre Donna into Palmer's life all the sudden to give them something to do.
Donna went to Palmer on the rebound as a father figure first and then it was kind of strange when they got married quick. On honeymoon, Palmer said 'we are married now, so let's make love'...
Palmer and Daisy were bitter divorcees and then passion came back again.
