CASTING NEWS: Brooke Leaves Town....
...with Adam! OK, it's not really much of a shock. But this week when Adam makes his departure from Pine Valley, he will be having his own New Beginning... with Brooke! Julia Barr and David Canary leave Pine Valley on Friday, April 23.

But it hasn't been 3 months yet. Has it? I was promised 3 months of Brooke. It's too soon.
Julia Barr first appeared February 23, and she's leaving April 23. That's 2 months ABC, not 3. Once again, you've disappointed your fans.
The latest "ABC Soaps in Depth" magazine says 'the door is open for both actors to return' and that they already have somew stories lined up for returns. Check it out.
This is part of what Julia said in her April "fan" newsletter:
QUOTE:
I know some people are disappointed that this was only a three month
run. But I have expressed interest in coming back whenever they might
want me…. so stay tuned.

Yes, this is true. As stated in the item about David Canary leaving, he wants to make periodic visits. Presumably, Brooke will be with him and I'm totally down with that! :)

This show is just better with Julia Barr on it. David Canary, too, but I respect actors' decisions about their own lives.
I hope she gets paid for three months.
I completely understand DC wanting to retire and enjoy his life. But JB never willingly left the show and the show benefits greatly from her presence.
I'm wondering if they plan was for Julia to be around three months but David's exit was pushed up. I seem to remember it originally being announced for May and now it's this week. Since they're leaving together in story, it makes sense not to have Brooke around for another month before leaving to be with Adam.
I'm down for periodic veteran visits a la Tuc Watkins on OLTL.
Julai Barr looks great for 60ish! She took care of herself and represents real working folk.
