You Know What They Say...
Where there is smoke, there is fire. And oh if this one starts smoking, then smoldering and then going up in flames of truth, there will many many happy soap fans. No, it won't bring our soaps back, but it will put Brian Frons on the unemployment line. Yes my friends, the New York Post gossip page, PAGE SIX is reporting that Mr. Frons is in some deep do-do for his handling, er, mishandling of the cancellations of both AMC and OLTL and that with advertisers like HOOVER dropping their advertising in protest of the cancellations (with others possibly following suit), his days at ABC may just be coming to an end. No, it doesn't bring our soaps back, but it does give me a nice sense of satisfaction.

After he's canned (and he will be) maybe Susan Lucci, gracious and lovely as she is, will hire him to mow her lawn.
Ohhhh, let's hope so!!!!
I could use him as fertilizer.
Oh, I am right there with you. That would be very satisfying news, indeed! Here's hoping!
However... I don't if I'd use the term 'mishandling'. Could there have been a way to handle the cancellations that would have been received any better by the fans? I don't think so. The cancellations should not have happened. No mater what way Frons, Sweeney and their cronies try to spin this, they are not in any way, shape, or form, justified in making this decision. Soaps aren't dying. They're being murdered and on purpose, because ABC is cheap and greedy. Their system for determining the ratings SUCKS, for back of a better term (LOL). I'm sure if they took the time to come up with something better, they'd probably be shocked to learn how many people really do still watch and enjoy the soaps.
Halavi!
