It's a sad day AMC fans. A very sad day. After months of speculation, confirmation comes today that David Canary (Adam) will be retiring and leaving AMC. He will film into April with a dramatic end to Adam and Annie's marriage and a reunion with a former wife (Brooke perhaps?). He also plans to visit and check in on the Chandler family from time to time. To see David's statement to fans, check out Soapnet.com

May he enjoy a long and happy life after AMC!
All My Children without David Canary, would be like Susan Lucci retiring. It's not going to be the same.
He will be missed dearly!!
I've been watching AMC since the mid-70's. The only reason I haven't stop watching was because of Adam (and Stuart)'s characters. Almost every major storyline that Adam was in I enjoyed ...with one exception..when Adam kidnapped Krystal and Tad's baby. May your retirement be everything you hope for.
I still can't believe it when I read this post. AMC is not going to be the same without Adam Chandler.
I know he's got to do what he's got to do, but it hurts!
