Frons Speaks... But Says Nothing of Value

Deadline.com, the website that broke the original news that AMC was being canceled a few weeks ago, had an exclusive interview with Brian Frons.  Read it all here.  And excuse my while I get a bucket for the hurl and a cold compress for my aching head.  What a crock of crap.   Seriously Mr. Frons, you want to joke about going into the witness protection program?  Respecting the fans to the end huh?   Here's my fave quote by Mr. Frons, "It was one of my craziest ideas" about combining OLTL and AMC into one show.  Seriously?  You think that was a crazy idea?  I got a few others that rank up there as crazier ideas that you've had sir.  And PS, Andy Cohen already had a show, it's called Watch What Happens.

I'm with you, JuJu. I've been a fan since the 70s and this sickens me too.
And replacing it with yet another talk show and/or cooking show?! GAG ME!

I just had a thought: Since Oprah's a huge AMC fan, maybe she could produce it on her new network. Wouldn't that be awesome?

That is being talked about quite a bit krutsk.

The only person Frons spoke to is his own image in the mirror, as he models the used thongs he steals from Cam Mat's wardrobe. All while he's putting on the make up he's stolen from Rebecca Budig's dressing room.

Or perhaps he speaks to his mother, who lives in the basement at the Bates Motel. Probably not, though. I assume she's pissed at him too.

Frons isn't qualified to be a fast food clerk, much less the head of daytime. I don't know of a better example of someone who has been elevated past his level of expertise, unless it's HIS boss, Sweeney.

The shows didn't die, they were killed. And OLTL was currently as good as it gets.

I despise this moron, and all his minions.

I would give anything if Oprah would continue the show on her network even if they had to cut it down to half an hour.
